Welcome to Our Blog

Julie's comment was, "What's a blog?"

I replied that it was a type of shoe worn by certain individuals when they dance. Bloggers. Typically in rural areas and it resembles tap dancing. More often than not, they dance to folk music.

She didn't believe me. A "blog" is an internet diary. So, with much fanfare and to do, welcome to our blog.

Last week, Julie purchased a name book. It contained roughly 4,000 names, which we can pick our son's name. They even are so kind to break the names down to categories, i.e., presidential names, slacker names, truck driver names. You get the picture. To date, we have safely eliminated about 3,998 of those names.

The names that DID survive the cut were Robert and Hudson. Julie has implemented a silent assault on the name Robert, drafting her friends and family to underhandedly refer to the unborn as "Hudson". To respond to such subterfuge , I took to the more direct and obvious approach by saying, "Huh?", "I'm sorry?", "Did you say something?".

Advantage Sam.
